In KidZone, we are passionate about helping kids be in wonder of God! We want kids to carry these truths with them every day:

With the start of our new service times, we will also be expanding our KidZone Children’s Ministry team to provide full kids programming (infants-6th grades) during BOTH services!

Young Adult Ministry

Mark your calendars for **Sunday, August 30!** The Young Adults are so grateful for your support of our recent mission trip to Utah and Arizona. We’d love to share about our experience, the ways we were able to serve, and the incredible ways we saw God work.
If you’d like to hear more, join us in **T1 in the T-Building after the 10:00 AM service on August 30th**. We’ll have snacks and drinks available as we share about our trip.

Rooted

Are you new to North Orange? Rooted is a great place to begin. This 10-week discipleship experience will help you grow in your relationship with God, connect with others, and learn what it means to be part of our church community.
Rooted meets on Wednesday evenings as part of our One Night Wednesday Ministries, with children’s and youth programs available at the same time. It is also the first step toward becoming a member of North Orange Christian Church.
Mark your calendar for **September 16**, watch for the sign-up list, and begin your journey at North Orange with Rooted.

Men’s Breakfast

Join us for our Resolved men’s ministry breakfast on **Saturday, august 22nd** at **7:30 am.** As our guest speaker, Gary Tangeman, holds a discussion on “How A Man Prays For his Family”

New Service Times

On Sunday, September 13, our Sunday morning service times will change to 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. These new times will help us better serve our growing church family and create more room for guests and families. We look forward to worshiping with you at one of our new service times!

Storehouse Food Pantry

The Storehouse Ministry is dedicated to people in need of food assistance. We are a partner agency with Second Harvest Food Bank. Through them, we receive a variety of donations which include bread/pastries, frozen meats, fresh produce and more. We rarely receive dry goods and pantry items. This is where **YOU CAN HELP…**
First, **we are in need of more volunteers** to help distribute the food from 2pm - 5pm on Mondays and 2pm - 4pm on Tuesdays. Contact the office at office@nocc.org to volunteer.
Also we are in the process of redesigning our distribution to allow our guests more independence in choosing the foods that they want. To make this happen, a **full pantry** is needed. We are looking for a steady flow of dry goods/pantry items. Dry beans/rice, cereal, canned vegs, soups/soup mixes, peanut butter, pasta etc. are needed.
Alongside our food & volunteer needs, we are also currently seeking **summer clothing** donations. As the weather continues to grow hotter, we want to be able to provide people with cool, lightweight, and breathable clothing instead of the winter clothing we currently have. Food and clothing donations can be brought to the office Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, or bring any donations with you to service on Sunday.

One Night Wednesday Summer Break

Our weekly One Night Wednesday has officially closed for the season. In the meantime, please note that while One Night Wednesday is on break, the **youth group** (7th-12th grades) **will continue meeting** regularly throughout the summer.

STOREHOUSE MINISTRY

Our Storehouse/Food Pantry is now open Mondays from 2-5 PM and Tuesdays from 2-4 PM.

Volunteers are always needed! If you have free time in the afternoons on these days, consider volunteering. Serving is a pleasure and a joy. If you speak Spanish that would be a plus but it is not required. Donations are accepted at all times in office during office hours and Sundays at welcome table.
