There are a lot of words used in “religious” circles that aren’t used at other times. Most of them are words we don’t understand fully, and don’t use apart from these “religious” circles. Often, these words carry negative connotations. At the very least, they fail to inspire, to excite, to motivate us to the response God wants from us. One of those words is “Missions”. Many—maybe even most—of our people are not aware of what “missions” really are. We aren’t used to a personal role in “missions”. We aren’t connected with “missions ministry” personally. So, perhaps it is a good idea to find other words, other descriptions, which will excite us and motivate us. Join us this week as we look at “the M Word”!
