MISSION PURPOSE/VISION STATEMENT:
We believe in His calling on us to continue ministry, especially at this crucial time. Our hearts continue to break concerning the salvation of the Muslim majority in this nation.
CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Indonesia continues to experience major natural disasters. In the last three years we have had ten major natural disasters. My evangelism and apologetics are expressed best face-to-face and are done in the areas of these recent disasters. I have spent around eleven months in six of these disaster locations. This is a new way of getting out into areas of Indonesia that were previously “off-limits” to foreigners. I believe that these disasters are serving His purposes in opening doors for evangelists and the Message. Our feet have traveled to these places and our hands have served these people.
I continue to travel to Aceh, the tsunami area, and continue to seek to provide platforms for church planting teams. Currently I am working on development of two large projects. One is the building of a training center facility for local pastors. We are currently seeking funding for this. Another project is a large crop and livestock development project. If either of these are funded we will have a platform for several church planting teams.
I am also on staff at Bandung International Church as a pastor; I do not receive a salary from BIC. Planters are sent out from us to work long term to bring the Good News to the many Unreached Muslim People Groups here", especially in disaster areas.
VICTORIES:
Your support made it possible for our workers and a few other key people we know get new water filters so they would use less of their resources for clean drinking water. Thank you for your many prayers for us as we get well under way into 2008. We’ve gotten so many letters from you. God continues to give us the strength we need to do the work He has called us to do.
