How did you come to NOCC?
One of my college professors was the student ministries pastor here at NOCC. A few years after I graduated I got a call from him letting me know that he was moving into a new position and that the church would be looking for a new student ministries pastor and he wanted to include my name in the search.

I have a beautiful wife, Adrieanna who I married in September of ’03. We had our first child, Abigail, in December of ’07 and have been loving it.
What is your role at NOCC?
I take care of general pastoral duties and am in charge of Jr high through College ministries here at the church.
What is the best part about your role?
It is never boring. I get to help people with problems, joke around with students, preach the word, and do crazy events.
What you do for fun:
I like to do outdoor activities of almost any kind. One of my favorite things to do is play Frisbee with my Dog.
What makes you laugh:
Almost anything makes me laugh. But I laugh hardest at videos of people getting hurt.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
I think that the greatest invention of the last hundred years has to be the Swiss army knife. Because with it you can get yourself out of any jam. Just ask MacGyver
What is your favorite place on the earth?
The woods, where there are no people.

I don’t know that I have a favorite. Prayer and the art of Volkswagen maintenance is one that influenced my life the most, so either that or Enders game.
