JEREMY LEEjlee@nocc.orgAfter graduating in May of 2003 from San Jose Christian College with a degree in Christian Education, emphasis in Children's Ministry. Jeremy began full time in August 2003 as associate minister - Children's minister at NOCC.
Job Title:
Associate Minister - Children’s Ministry
Hometown:
San Jose, CA
Family info:
Married to my wonderful wife Laura, together we live in a two bedroom condo with our two dogs Oliver and Toby.
What is your role at NOCC?
To give children as much candy and sugar as possible then send them home to their parents, actually no. I get the joy of overseeing the children’s programs here at the church, including Childcare, Baptism classes, and Sunday mornings.
What is the best part about your role?
I get to encourage kids in their walk with God, encourage parents as they grow in parenting their children and I get to play with the kids every once in a while.
FUN STUFF:
What you do for fun:
Sleep, go to the beach, go to the mountains, watch movies, go to the park, cook, people watch, explore new things.
What makes you laugh:
Movies, people watching, funny things, good jokes, our dogs and the crazy things they do.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
This all depends on who it is greatest for!!! For a lot of people it is the cell phone cause now they can get a hold of people wherever, whenever! Sometimes this works to my advantage, provided that people answer.
☺ What is your favorite place on the earth?
It’s that place where everything goes right, everyone is happy, and you get to play all day. I haven’t found it yet please let me know if you find it!!!
If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?
How are these shows reality!!! The situations people are put into are not real, they are simulated! But if I were to be a part of one of these simulated unrealities I would have to say it would be the forum. The internet forum that is, because in this one place thousands of people from all across the world can come together and share ideas.
